Coastal Carolinas Golf Trail

The Carolina coast is one of the most beloved places on the East coast. With an abundance of preserved historical places, great golf courses, wonderful sandy beaches, and so much else to do, you barely want to blink—you just might miss something!

The Area

The coastal Carolinas trail extends all the way from Duck and Corolla, Cape Hatteras, and Ocracoke Island down to Charleston, SC and Hilton Head Island.  During this trip you will pass through the Crystal Coast, Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, and historic Southport, North Carolina.

Golf Courses

A wide variety of carefully chosen public and semi-private golf courses that make up the Coastal Carolinas Golf Trail will provide golfers with an excellent variety of challenging and scenic golf tracks that will combine value, quality, and southern hospitality to your golf vacation experience.

Landmarks and Attractions:

"Let us protect you from the hazards of life and keep you in the fairways!"

Coastal Carolinas Golf Association, also known as CCGA announces their weekly 9 Hole Golf Tour and Bible Study using the daily devotional book "Thy Club and Thy Staff", author and accomplished golf instructor Meredith Kirk, Murrels Inlet, SC.  Thank you Meredith for writing such an inspirational book that is already impacting golfers, Golf Professionals and an employee at TPC Boston.  A PGA Tour Player has received a copy of the book from Jim McFadyen during his round on Sunday at The Deutsche Bank Championship- Fed Ex Cup Playoff in September 2013.  "This man has been very motivating, inspirational and great example of the many Christian Golfers on the PGA Tour. He is a great father, husband and humble man while making a great living on the PGA Tour"  - The book, "Thy club and Thy Staff" is a 21 topic study guide that will act as our caddie as we have fellowship, fun and walk the links in our Christian Growth.  The participating golf courses have welcomed us and there is a great schedule of golf courses on The CCGA Golf Ministry Tour.

Carolina National - A Fred Couples Design- has been very encouraging and accomodating to us and they are the Home Course of the CCGA Golf Ministry Tour and they have 3 different 9 Hole courses and a wonderful club house. A big thank you to Steve Lee - The Director of Sales and Marketing at Carolina National for being so accomodating and encouraging over the last year!  Lastly, a mentor of mine, a PGA Master Professional also has received and read a copy of this book. I have received overwhelming support and encouragement to grow this ministry and contribute to growing the game of golf. It truly is the Greatest Game Ever Played!

* Please contact Jim McFadyen : if you are interested in joining us.  This is not a competitive golf event and golfers of all levels are encouraged to join us.  The only score you will be required to keep is "Are you acheiving your personal par?"  Beginner golfers are welcome.

We will meet on Tuesdays and you will receive a membership to the CCGA Golf Club and a Golf Pullover while supplies last.  Keep it in the Fairways!
